I credit my Dad for sparking my interest in diving when I was a kid. Hearing his stories of diving in the early 1960s instilled in me a sense of adventure and love of the outdoors. I earned my open water certification in the 1990s while in college. As life events took over, I only dove intermittently. I “re-discovered” diving after moving to Arizona in 2015 and my teenage kids showed an interest in scuba diving. My wife and I took a refresher course through No Limits Scuba the same weekend our kids finished their Open Water certification. I caught the “diving bug” and decided to become a PADI professional, finding a scuba family at NLS in the process.
My favorite places to dive (so far) include the atolls of the Marshall Islands, the spectacular reefs of Cozumel, the towering kelp forests of Catalina, and the historic wrecks of the northern Red Sea. However, I am always adding more to my list.
The thing I love most about diving is that it offers a break from the hectic pace of the surface world. There is always something new to see and learn on every dive, and I enjoy sharing this amazing sport with new divers.
I chose No Limits Scuba because of the people – the staff and instructors are all top notch: putting safety first, providing excellent instruction and advice, and are always willing to share their knowledge and passion for scuba.
