Although I am drawn more towards warm water, I am always happy to be diving anywhere. For me, Hawaii has the most amazing diving so far. With about 25% of the underwater organisms being endemic to the area you are bound to see some really cool animals. As a biologist, I enjoy looking for all the animals, big or small, and observing their behaviors. Maui, in particular, is a diver's paradis. I have seen animals of all different kinds including whales, sharks, turtles, monk seal, tiny nudibranchs that are the size of a nail clipping, and even animals that are super rare to find in those waters, like the pipefish or the flying gurnard.
I originally became part of the No Limits Scuba family when I came into the shop as a student in 2019. No Limits Scuba taught and raised me to be a confident and skilled diver, from my Open Water certification all the way through my Rescue Diver. I then flew out of the nest and got my Divemaster certification in Brazil and finally my Instructor certification in Maui where I lived and worked in the diving industry for two years. After moving back to Arizona I felt my gills start to dry up so I had to find a way to get back under water. That's when No Limits Scuba welcomed me in with open arms, except this time as an instructor.
I am excited to share with you the same feeling of awe, excitement, and accomplishment that was shared with me when I first got certified with No Limits Scuba. Come dive with me!
