There’s something exciting and mysterious about exploring deeper dive sites while scuba diving. Sometimes it’s a wreck that attracts you below 18 metres/60 feet, and sometimes its the call of a beautiful reef wall. Whatever it is, to scuba dive with confidence at depths down to 40 metres/130 feet, you should take the PADI Deep Diver Specialty course. 

Details:

• Must be at least 15yrs old to participate.
• Must hold a minimum of PADI Advanced Open Water Certification (or equivalent from another agency).
• Must complete PADI eLearning (approx 3hrs).

 You'll perform 4 dives and learn:

• Your training starts by reviewing objectives for deep diving.
• The importance of knowing your personal limits and dive planning.
• About buddy contact procedures, safety considerations and buoyancy control at depth.
• How to use specialized deep diving equipment.
• Managing your gas supply, dealing with gas narcosis and safety considerations.

Cost: $325

The course cost includes the eLearning, all the scuba kit rental gear needed (Wetsuit, BCD, Regulator, Computer, Tanks & Weights) all course tuition, and your certification fees and eCard. Does not include personal gear consisting of scuba rated mask, snorkel, fins and boots. Students will need a cutting tool, a primary light, an SMB/reel and a compass. All Students receive 10% off gear purchased in the shop and includes a personal fitting.
