No Limits Scuba Terms & Conditions

PADI Courses

Paperwork

  • Students enrolled in PADI courses are required to complete the RSTC Diver Medical Questionnaire and NLS Training Agreement before receiving eLearning and participating in any training. If paperwork is not returned prior to 1 week before class, No Limits Scuba reserves the right to disenroll you from the class and you will need to re-enroll in a future class.

Reschedule Policy

  • No Limits Scuba allocates instructors and resources based on enrollment for each class. Cancelling or rescheduling any PADI course has the following rescheduling fee structure in place:
    • If 1 month or more prior to class date: No-charge
    • If 3 weeks prior to class: $25 per person, per instance
    • If 2 weeks prior to class: $50 per person, per instance
    • If 1 week or less prior to class: $100 per person, per instance
  • Rescheduling must occur within one year. After one year, No Limits Scuba, at its discretion, may be unable to offer refunds. Refunds are not available once training has begun.

Dive Gear Policy

  • Students must have a properly fitting mask, snorkel, boots, and fins that are rated for scuba to safely participate in training and enable mastery of the dive skills in the course. Snorkeling gear and full foot fins will not suffice during training due to safety concerns and will not be allowed at the pool or lake. Any gear purchased outside of No Limits Scuba will need to be checked by our staff before your first session.
  • Students are responsible for pick-up, drop-off, and transportation of all rental gear provided during training (BCD, Regs, Wetsuit, Computer, Weights, Tanks). All gear must be cleaned and returned by the Tuesday after the final scheduled session. Any dirty, late, damaged or lost gear will result in additional charges.

NLS Try Dives

  • Try Dive students must provide No Limits Scuba with t-shirt and shoe size prior to their scheduled session to ensure the appropriately sized gear is brought to the pool. If sizes are not provided, No Limits Scuba reserves the right to disenroll you from the class and you will need to re-enroll in a future try scuba session.
  • Try Dive reschedules must occur prior to the Friday before the scheduled session to avoid incurring rescheduling fees.

Travel

  • Non-Refundability of Deposits - All deposits and subsequent progress payments are deemed earned upon receipt and are strictly non-refundable once the specified payment date has transpired. The Participant acknowledges that these funds are committed to third-party vendors and overseas operators immediately to secure logistics and accommodations.
  • Payment Schedule and Forfeiture - Each trip is governed by a specific "Payment Schedule" outlined in the respective trip flyer, invoice, or electronic communication. Late Payments: Failure to remit payment by the stated deadline may result in the automatic cancellation of the reservation and the forfeiture of all prior payments. Cancellation Penalties: Cancellations made after a designated payment milestone will incur penalties up to and including 100% of the total trip cost, as detailed in the trip-specific documentation.
  • Cancellation Procedure - For a cancellation to be valid, the Participant must provide written notice via email, fax, or registered mail. Cancellations are deemed "received" only on the date of confirmed delivery. Cancellations received after the final payment deadline are ineligible for refund or credit, regardless of the reason for cancellation, subject to the Force Majeure provisions in Section X.
  • Mandatory Travel Insurance Recommendation - The Company strongly advises and encourages each Participant to purchase a comprehensive "Cancel For Any Reason" (CFAR) travel insurance policy. It is the Participant’s sole responsibility to ensure their policy covers medical emergencies, trip interruption, and the Named Perils listed in Section 2 of No Limits Scuba Trip Cancellation Policy.

Section 2

  • Trip Cancellation and Force Majeure - Event of Cancellation. In the event that a scheduled trip is canceled, interrupted, or delayed, in whole or in part, due to Force Majeure or any Named Peril (as defined in Section 2), No Limits Scuba (the "Company") shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect losses, including but not limited to airfare, lodging, or incidental expenses.
  • Definition of Named Perils - For the purposes of this Agreement, "Named Perils" shall include, but are not limited to:
Adverse Weather & Natural Disasters: Hurricanes, typhoons, earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, or floods.
Civil & Political Unrest: Acts of war (declared or undeclared), riots, civil commotion, strikes, or acts of terrorism.
Health & Safety: Pandemics, epidemics, or government-mandated travel restrictions.
Mechanical Failure: Unforeseen failure of essential vessel equipment or infrastructure rendering the trip unsafe or impossible.
  • Mitigation and Vouchers - Upon the occurrence of a cancellation due to a Named Peril, the Company shall exercise commercially reasonable efforts to negotiate with third-party vendors and local operators to secure a non-refundable travel credit or voucher. Such vouchers shall be valid for use at the original destination for future travel within a timeframe specified by the local operator. The Company does not guarantee the issuance of a cash refund or the full value of the original booking, as such recovery is subject to the policies of the destination-based service providers.
